Trecorras Farm

Regenerative Farming in the Wye Valley

Restoring soil, supporting biodiversity, and producing exceptional pasture-fed beef with integrity.

Trecorras Farm is a 300-acre farm on the edge of the Wye Valley, managed with a long-term commitment to regenerative farming, soil health, and responsible food production.

Farming With Responsibility, Patience and Hope

At Trecorras Farm, we believe farming should leave the land better than it was found. Our work is rooted in stewardship, guided by nature, and focused on rebuilding healthy soils, improving biodiversity, and producing food with real integrity.

From regeneratively grown arable crops to pasture-fed beef and practical support for others in the rural sector, everything we do begins with care for the land.

About Trecorras Farm

Trecorras Farm stretches across 300 acres on the edge of the Wye Valley β€” a landscape shaped by time, weather and generations of farming.

When the farm was purchased in 2011, the land reflected decades of conventional agriculture. The soil had been heavily worked and biodiversity had declined. Since then, the focus has been on restoring the land through regenerative farming practices that prioritise soil health, resilience and long-term stewardship.

Today, the farm is predominantly arable, producing cereal crops including oilseed rape, winter and spring wheat for Wildfarmed, alongside other seed crops. Alongside this, a small herd of cattle plays an important role in supporting the wider regenerative system.

Our Regenerative Approach

We farm with the understanding that healthy land supports healthy food, healthy ecosystems and a more resilient future.

Our approach includes:

🌱

Soil First

Everything begins beneath our feet. By improving soil health, we strengthen the foundation for productive crops, resilient pasture and thriving wildlife.

🌍

Reduced Disturbance

We aim to work with the land, not against it, reducing soil disturbance and managing inputs thoughtfully to support long-term recovery and balance.

🌾

Companion Cropping

Growing multiple plant species together helps improve soil structure, support beneficial insects and create stronger, more diverse habitats across the farm.

πŸ„

Livestock as Part of the System

Our cattle are not separate from the farm’s regenerative model β€” they are part of it. Managed carefully, they help cycle nutrients and support the health of the land.

What Makes Trecorras Farm Different
