Trecorras Farm

About Trecorras Farm

A working farm in the Wye Valley focused on regeneration, resilience and responsible food production.

Our Story

Trecorras Farm stretches across 300 acres on the edge of the Wye Valley — a landscape shaped by time, weather and generations of farming.

When the farm was purchased in 2011, the land carried the legacy of decades of conventional agriculture. The soil had been heavily worked and biodiversity had declined. Since then, the focus has been on restoring the land through regenerative farming practices that prioritise soil health, resilience and long-term stewardship.

Today, the farm is predominantly arable, producing cereal crops including oilseed rape, winter and spring wheat for Wildfarmed, along with other seed crops. Wildfarmed is one of the few companies paying farmers a premium for regeneratively grown grain, supporting farming systems that improve soil health and biodiversity.

A key part of this approach is companion cropping — growing multiple plant species together to support soil life, improve soil structure and create better habitats for wildlife and beneficial insects.

Alongside the arable crops, a small herd of cattle plays a complementary role in the system, helping cycle nutrients and support the regenerative management of the land.

The result is a farm that is not only productive, but increasingly diverse, resilient and alive. This is farming with responsibility, patience and hope.
